In 1948 at Paris France the declaration of human rights was made and in 1976 made international law. article five of this declaration states that
1.No one may be subject to torture or to cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment.
It is this law that should be abided by all people so that we may live in this world without the fear of being unjustly punished and subject to extreme pain. In the modern era we must set an example for the rest of the world that things like torure and opression
